This video is now 3 years and by now i guess you found out that these pens are junk. Goulet pens doesnt even carry them anymore. Tips do not last at all.

Great review, I'm think of getting the sandisk 2tb hard-drive may i ask how is it holding up right now i just read some amazon reviews which freaked me out of people losing the data after awhile.

I like the magnetic screen protector. Hopefully the manufacturer will do some improvement on the strength of the magnet.

A magnetic screen protector is an interesting concept. Wish it could be a bit stronger to accomodate for hand placement/movement while drawing, however the tips seem like they would be more worth while! Great video as always!

its just useless, it doesn't store the calibration when turned off so i don't even see much of a point

It is always better to use coreldraw on desktop or laptop, The version of coreldraw App is not supported like desk or lap ..corel on ipad is just for presentation.. you can not design pretty much like desk or lap..

after turning off the screen and turning it on again, is the previous weight remembered or is it reset to zero again?

I have downloaded the magic lantern firmware, uploaded tot he camera, male all the settings as you show on the focus stacking, but when I press the camera still only takes one picture? Why? what setting do I need to do for te canon 6D for it to work?

Can you let me know as I have several injectors same as you is it better to actually fill the injector with the NIB ON? If so why? I’ve not done that and I find the injector does not QUITE fill to the top could that be why?

Thank you for this review, I’m almost certain I’ll buy one of these but I have one question which I hope you might answer. I keep my ipad in a Logitech keyboard case with a detachable keyboard. I remove this when I want to draw but I leave the back of the case on to protect the Ipad for one thing and because it’s a hassle to keep taking it on and off. With the back of the case on the ipad is approximately 0.5 inches / 14.5 mm thick. Will it fit into the rubber channel at the base of the stand or will it be too thick.? It looks as if it will from on line views but without being able to measure it I can’t be sure. Anyway, if you have a tape measure to hand I’d appreciate it.

That was a good test, but I much prefer the cartridges now. I have about eight different bottles of ink in varying colours, two styles of injectors, and I just found that it was just too much of a hassle to constantly refill the injectors because the injectors iFeel, use the ink faster than the cartridge. That is just something to think about when you buy the pen and ink. You can get boxes of 10 refill cartridges exactly the same colour and they write very well for around and I’m in Australia $5.95 depending on the colour. I just did a re-order this afternoon and for 10 blue 20 black 2o Turmaline I think it’s cost me about $60 all up that’s with postage so you don’t necessarily need to buy the ink, and before you do please notice that it is usually vastly more expensive. Especially for a 50 mil bottle. I still have my bottles and I still use them occasionally but for value I just use the cartridges now.

Link to 1.1.6 firmware is non-existant. It seems I'm too late to this party. I have 1.1.9 installed and that is all that is available on Canon's site.

Hi Robert, can you please let me know if Magic Lantern has any features to control the camera with a phone, Wifi or USB? I have a Canon 6d.

I have ML on my 6D and recently I was on a trip to get photos of fireflies. As we do not have intervalometer in canon software ML helped me with it but the thing is processing time! I was having shutter speed of 20sec, ISO 3000, F 4.5 and it was taking 10+ sec to process and save the image. Where Nikon was taking less than 3sec to save the image. I was super disappointed with ML. MMC I am using is class 10 150mb/s scandisk. I am removing ML. Better I buy $30-35 intervalometer for the same. If there is any solution, let me know I will keep ML…R
